Actor Arun Vijay’s upcoming film,
'Deal', has been retitled as 'Vaa Deal' owing to the makers wanting to
avail tax exemptions. The film has Karthika Nair pairing up with Arun
Vijay and actors Vamsi Krishna, Satish, Renuka and Jayaprakash in
integral roles. 'Vaa Deal', which is directed by Sivagnanam, is in its
post-production stage. “The film’s amended title is very relevant to the
climax of the film. We wanted to let the news out around the audio
launch of the film,” says Arun, who confirms that the music composed by
composer Thaman will be launched this month. The film’s shooting was
delayed by a couple of months when a few crucial scenes had to be canned
in a colony and the residents reckoned that the shooting might disturb
children, who were preparing for school examinations then. “My
father-in-law, who is the producer of the film, believed that goodwill
was important and so we waited for the exams to get over. Now the shoot
is all complete. We have shot many scenes on highways and a bulk of it
in Chennai,” reveals Arun. He adds, “These days, one has to choose the
right time for the release of a film as suitable timing decides its
fate. So we are waiting for the right time to release the film.” Arun
was last seen in Thadaiyara Thaaka, which was considered a sleeper hit
and the star believes that Vaa Deal will go down well with the audience
too. “It is a fast-paced film and it is a thorough entertainer,” he
concludes.
