Cuckoo doesn't seem to be a run of the mill
story. the teaser of the film has already garnered rave reviews from movie
buffs. director raju murugan, a journalist turned filmmaker, says that the film
is based on a real life story that he had come across when he was a journalist.
he is a popular columnist with a tamil weekly "it's all about two visually
challenged people who fall in love without any expectations. the film will
definetely portray love in a divine way," says raju. "except for the
lead roles in the film, io have cast real visually challenged people instead of
making actors act as if they were blind. i believe that i have done justice to
my story. also, dinesh of attakathi fame, has portrayed the role in dedicated
way. malavika nair has played the female lead in the malayalam version of
vazhaku en 19/19. CUCKOO is produced by FOX Star studious and the music of the
film is composed by santhosh narayanan
