Kannan, who is gearing up with an original script that has Vemal and
Priya Anand in the lead, has finally zeroed in on two titles for the
film. If sources are to be believed, Kannan’s producer Michael Rayappan
has registered two titles for their flick, namely 'Sakkarai' and 'Kadhal
Konjam Kammi' (K3). When Kannan was contacted by this newspaper he
confirmed the news, “We have had both 'Sakkarai' and 'Kadhal Konjam
Kammi' titles registered under our banner. Since both go well with the
core theme of the film, I will freeze on one of them and reveal it
officially soon.” This is Kannan’s fifth film and insiders say that he
has taken extra care to project him in a new light and different
dimensions.
“It’s a travel story and happens on a train between Thoothukudi and Chennai. With each film I want go a step ahead to the next level. In fact, I took time to complete my script and had given a bound copy to most of the important artistes, including the lead pair,” Kannan said. Satish of Ethir Neechal fame plays a key role. Imman has been roped in for the music. P.G. Muthiah is behind the camera.
