Samantha Ruth Prabhu is going places in Kollywood. The pretty actress who was writ-ten off in Tamil after a lacklustre start, migrated to Tollywood, and thanks to her mentor Gautham Menon's film, Ye Maaya Chesave, her career was catapulted to new heights. She has been a sought after actress since then in T'town. When her much expected 2012 Tamil film, Neethaane En Ponva santham, with Gautham, failed to make a mark at the box-office, the svelte girl found her calling in Telugu, having almost had six hits under her belt in the course of two years. Her charming pres-ence had her roped in by Lingusamy for Anjaan along-side Suriya. Now, the major piece of news is that the Naan Ee actress is the first choice of Murugadoss for his upcoming flick with Ilayathalapathy Vijay. Vijay and ARM are team-
ing up for the second time after their blockbuster, Thuppakki, which put the former in the elite 100 crore club. If sources are to be believed, Sam has been approached by ARM for the new film since the heroine also has a solid role in it and the latter hopes that she would fit the bill. Presently, Vijay is basking in the success of Jilla and Sam is shooting for Suriya's Anjaan. ARM is in the wrap-up of his Bollywood film, Holiday, with Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, which is a remake of Thuppakki.
