That vemal and priya anand are coming together for director
kannan’s movie is a known fact. Kannan, who earlier had the option of calling
the family entertainer sakkarai, has now settled for an interesting title, oru
oorula rendu raja. “now that soori has also joined the cast with vemal for a
crucial role, we felt that oru oorula rendu raja would be more apt as a title
than sakkarai,” says kannan. He adds that though he has given a bound script to
all three lead artistes, vemal, soori and priya have still been taking time to
rehearse over the last few days. “it is a travel story happening on a train. Despite
their busy work schedules all three allocate few hours for rehearsals. Iam happy
about it,” he muses. While Michael rayappan is producing the film, imman is
composing the music.
