Arun Kumar. the director of the film says. "Vijay
Sethupathi has always been casual, friendly, naughty and playful at the
shooting spot. But he nonchalantly slips into the character when the camera
starts to roll. He believes in building rap-port and bonding with co-artistes
on the sets and so. he doesn't rest in his caravan." The film, has been
converted to a full length feature from a short film. Arun explains.
"Rewriting the script for the feature film took almost a year but making
it didn't take too long. The story has been changed in relation to the short.
It was not a conscious deci-sion to cast Vijay Sethupathi just because he was
roped in by other short filmmakers. From my short film. I have retained Bala,
who essayed Vijay's role. He is a phenomenal actor."
