Actor Vijay
has never been averse to guest roles. Particularly he has appeared in
many films directed by his Father, Director S.A.Chandrasekar.
Now it is heard that Vijay
has accepted to make a cameo appearance in a film that is not directed
by his Father. The film in which the Jilla actor is supposed to make a
guest appearance will be Sagaptham, the maiden film of actor turned
Politician Vijaykanth's son Shanmugapandian.
It is said that this will be a thanks giving gesture of Vijay to his senior star Vijaykanth.
It is worth remembering that the DMDK founder played a pivotal role in
Sendhoorapandi, which was the film released in the period when Vijay
was struggling to register himself as a hero, That too the star fondly
addressed as Captain, by the fans had acted in the film directed by
S.A.Chandrasekaran, without charging a penny.
The film Sendhoorapandi was considered a crucial film in the initial stages of Vijay's career since his debut film Nalaiya Theerpu bombed at the box office.
Vijay making a cameo in Sagaptham is still a rumor since there has not been any official word from his side.
