Viddharth, who was last seen in Ajith's Veeram, is now all
set for the release of his next film, Aal. The flick is said to be a remake of
the Hindi film, Aamir, which was a box office hit. The film, directed by Ananda
Krishnan, has Viddharth in the role of a profes-sor in Sikkim, who comes to
Chennai for a reason. "I am happy to be part of this project as the film.
has a patriotic theme," says Viddharth. "It will def-initely inspire
anyone who watches it. The director has made some changes from the original
version, and it has really come out well. More than doing a love story or a
film without purpose, I am happy and feel proud to be part of a patriotic
film," says Viddharth. "The film was shot in Chennai for more than 45
days, and I ran all around north Madras for it. We kept hidden cam-eras on
streets to make the film more lively." Music for the film has been
composed by Johan and Harthika Shetty plays the female lead. Viddharth's next
film is Pattaiya Kelapu Pandiya, in which Soon i plays the lead. It's a comedy
film.
