Suriya is ready for the action

Actor Suriya who is currently stationed in US to spend the summer vacation with wife Jyothika and kids. The actor makes it a point to spend quality time with family every year and this time has opted for a summer vacation with family.

Suriya got injured during the last day of the climax stunt sequence shoot of his upcoming film 'Anjaan' in Mumbai. The actor was seen walking with the help of crutches when he made a public appearance to cast his vote for the Lok Sabha Elections held for the constituencies all over Tamil Nadu on April 24. Now the good news is that the 'Singam' star has completely recovered from injury and is fit to join the shoot.

Only a duet song featuring the lead pair Suriya and Samantha remains to be shot for 'Anjaan' directed and Produced by N. Linguswamy. The shooting of the song is expected to commence soon.

Atharvaa and Bala again

Just a few days after the announcement of Bala's B Studios producing Mysskin's Pisasu, there comes news of the ace director taking up the production of yet another film. Director Sargunatn, who had earlier directed Vaagai Soodava and the recent Dhanush-starrer, Naaiyandi, is expect-ed to don the director's hat for the film. Sources suggest that Atharvaa, who had earlier featured in Bala's nationally acclaimed Paradesi, might play the lead in this film too. Ghibran, Sargunam's regular music director, will compose the music for the untitled film. While Pisasu's shooting is going on in Hall swing, the shoot for the Bala-Sargunam film is expected to begin next month.

C is all set to release his Aranmanai, which falls under a similar genre. It was reported earlier that bubbly actress Hansika is playing a lady with supernatural powers in Aranmanai. According to sources, the scenes involving the Maan Karate girl and Santhanam will stir a laugh riot. Meanwhile, Hansika's stills from the movie are out. She is in rural attire that resembles a half saree — first time for her in Kollywood. The most comical part in Aranmanai is touted to be a scene where Santhanam realises that Hansika is a ghost, say sources.

Tenaliraman combo again?

Ace comedian Vadivelu had a neat comeback with his Tenaliraman, which opened to decent reviews some time ago. The film was mired in controversy before hit-ting the screens and carried enough hype. Now, according to sources, the Vaigai Puyal might join hands with Yuvaraj Dayalan, who helmed his comeback vehicle. However, it is unlikely that the actor wouldn't give the nod for a historical backdrop in the story this time. Meanwhile, rumours are doing the rounds that Vadivelu might share screen space with the Superstar in Lingaa. The duo was last seen together in P. Vasu's Kuselan.
